Default Major Weight Reduction For My Type R

well for the Driver anyway, as most know i am probely the Heaviest person to own a Type R, and I dont really care about my weight but I think my performance really suffers from it. That and the damn seats are to small for my fatass. So I Have begun a diet, I am just going to eat less and work out,

What I need are any tips, or sugestion on products that could speed the process up.

I figure that iff I lose 100lbs that is about equal to 10 free hp. plus ill probely live longer and be healthier ( this sadly is just a side effect for me, being my main purpose is my cars performance)

thanks for any advise, and this is not OT because it is directly ITR performance related, lol

thanks----------------------M

Xenadrine RFA-1, it's a thermogenic dietary supplement, and it works. You can get it from GNC.

Whenever you feel hungry or think the meal you just ate wasn't enought, drink a very large glass of water.

Don't skip meals, just eat healthier and drink more water to fill the empty space.

I think the best thing you can do is eat a lot of fruits and veggies, and take some kind of martial arts.

Shotokan Karate of America, the organization that I belong to, has 2 dojos in Florida. These guys are pretty serious, and unlike a "professional" martial arts "school" like you might find in a mall, don't charge much. membership is 50 bucks a year, along with buying your outfit.

The closest one to you is probably the one in Golden Beach - the # is 305-933-1690. the semester is just starting, so you wont be out of your league.

martial arts training is the best way to work out. it develops your mind and body, and teaches you to defend yourself (a valuable skill for ITR owners) while whipping you into better shape.

Heroin works realy good. laff, j/k. When i want to loose weight i eat once a day, take Metabolyfe and work out every other day for about an hour and a half. I end up losing just under 10lbs a week. It's hard and not to good for you, but damn it drops off fast.

Do this, set a set ammount every day. MY friend did this. Say 2 sandwhiches (low fat as possible) when youget hungry you eat half of one. Half for lunch, half as a snack, and half for dinner. Low fat milk, etc. Then do workouts and cardio workouts, it's gonna suck for a few weeks/ months but my friend in PC lost 200lbs and counting like this. He works out like 3 days a week.

Well i used to weigh 175, now i weigh 130. I know thats not losing 100 lbs, but i do have some advice.

What i did was...i estimated how many calories i was burning a day doing nothing. If you go to a fitness center, they can estimate pretty accurately how much you're burning. Once you know that, just eat based off it.

Its pretty simple, if you eat more calories then you burn, you're going to gain weight. You can still lose weight eating the exact same things you're eating now, but you have to work out more. If you wanna lose weight faster, cut your caloric intake and workout.

Start off easy, don't try killing yourself. But i suggest maybe a nice 30 minute to 1 hour walk each day. Don't eat after dinner (midknight snacks are a killer). Make sure your caloric intake is less than how many you're burning, maybe jog a mile everyday (i ran 3 miles everyday), and in about 1-2 months you'll see results. Not only will you lose weight, but your metabolism will speed up. The most important thing is to build consistency though. You gotta keep it up everyday

Cut down on foods with high carbohydrate content for dinner or late night snacks.

Aerobic activity and weight training are essential to losing weight and staying healthy.

Please try to stay away from those 'diet pills' (e.g. Xenadrine, Hydroxycut, etc.)

Also, adjust your diet and caloric intake. If you do these things and stay dedicated you WILL see results.

I wish you the best of luck.

Wes,

I am in the same boat as you. I am trying to bulk up. I used to weigh 140 lbs about 1.5-2 years ago but I am up to 180 lbs now. I gained it all from eating good, sleeping good, staying dedicated, and working out hard. If I can do it you can too.

I'm trying to lose a couple pounds myself. And although there are a lot of different diets out there, it's all about the calories. Don't worry about the fat, the carbs, etc. It's a lot harder that way. Just count calories. I've found this great way of doing it easily. Start buying these personal ready to serve campbell's soups (about 110 calories), starkist tuna lunch packs, with the crakers, etc. (210 calories), and any other personal things like chef boyaredee (about 190 calories). I'm eating about 6(more light meals speed up your metabolism) of these various meals a day and I'm still staying under 1000 calories. That's about 2-3 pounds per week. Also, do cardio at least 20 minutes each time, three days a week. Also, just find a weight routine you like and stick to it. It won't happen overnight, but if you stick to it you will definately see a difference. Also, stuff like xenadrine, hydroxycut, and rip fuel will help.
(also the subway thing will work to if you do it right because that also keeps you at about 1000 calories a day)

My friends are all jumping on the carbohydrates diet to lose weight. All you do is meat and green vegetables. Suppose to stop burning carbs and start burning fat. My friend 246 lost about 30 lbs in 2 months. Suppose to really work.

Hey man, here's some direct advice from someone in the medical field. Stay away from anything that makes you lose more than 1-2 lbs per week. Anything faster than that, and you're not losing fat, you're losing water and muscle. Sadly, in a starvation state, your body doesn't choose fat to burn first. However, if you can maintain a steady state of calorie starvation (simply put, you burn more than you eat), you'll lose weight the safe way. All of the super fast diets revolve around depleting the body of water, which is very heavy. However, it's not water that you want to lose, and diets like that are very hard on the kidneys. My advice...first cut out all the junk food, candy, SODA, etc,, but don't eat any less. Being hungry is the worst thing you can do, esp. at first. Next, cut your meal size down, but eat more often. At first you're still eating the same amount of food, but multiple small meals keeps your metabolism going (your body doesn't feel like it needs to store up food if it knows more is coming soon). Next, keep up the small meals, but cut down the number of meals (reduce the number only as fast as your stomach feels full. Remember, being hungry all the time will make you quit). Also, start exercise VERY SLOW for two reasons. First, you don't want to hurt yourself (this isn't weight related. It's true of anyone who's starting an exercise program). Second, working out makes you hungry, and if you're not already used to the small meal thing, you're in for some real binge eating. A 20-30 min. brisk walk is a good place to start. The row machine is also one of the best low-impact overall calorie burners ever made. If you can find one, use it. Running is just too stressful for most people who are just starting out. HTH There's plenty more info where that came from if you need it.

pick up some mens health and fitness magazines, they usually have some good info about losing weight as well as some pre made diet food schedules another thing you could look into is the fat burning combo of caffeine effedrine and asprin, it is by far the most potent fat burning stack (most all dietary supplements are based on the same princinple only they use herbal equivalents and arent quite as potent) but please see a physician before you take any type of weight loss product seeing as how you are undergoing a large weight loss, you should also consult your physician and see if he can help you out with an excercise schedule, after all you dont want to "dive in" to this and do more harm than good, be safe, be careful and know thats its gonna take time and hard work but you can do it!!

Yeah, As Socal ITR said, Pick up some Xenadrine RFA-1 from GNC. I took that while lifting for football. It not only speeds your fat loss, but gives you a bost of energy to get through the day. Its good stuff.

Sounds like some good advice is to discuss this with your doctor... Just to make sure you don't damage your self... Get a physical to get a starting point and to make sure you are not a diabetic or something... Way better off knowing if ... say you have a hypoactive thyroid or a hyperactive one.. before you start tayloring your food intake and excercise level and cause a problem, or don't get expected results... Best of luck man

This may sound ironic but you have to let go of the R to go faster.
i.e. walk or bike to work or whatever a couple of days a week and the pounds will fall off before you even know it

Yeah, you'll want to maintain a state of caloric deficit. Essentially burning more calories than you ingest in a given day. NOthing overly drastic, but more on the subtle side. Eat small meals, but eat more often. Eating six or seven smaller meals is far better for you than 3 big meals. Keep carbohydrate intake moderate, and increase your protein intake. Eliminate or cut back as much as possible: any alcohol, candy, chocolate bars, etc. These things contain too much simple sugars and they spike insulin, which is real good at helping you store body fat. You'd be amazed at how much better off you'll feel if you just stop eating junk food alltogether, it's amazing. ITR#231 seems to know his stuff, check out what he said again. And eat breakfast, make that your biggest meal of the day, and the last meal of the day should be the lightest (Americans have it backwards). Breakfast is important because you havent eaten anything for ~8 hours (hence break-fast) and you're metabolism is fastest when you wake up in the morning as well, so you'll be better suited to burn those calories as well. At night your metabolism tends to slow, which is why it's bad to eat heavy at night. Alcohol is your enemy, besides wreaking havok hormonally (testosterone suppression) it's far too easy to convert those empty calories to fatty tissue. Plus it triggers a hormonal cascade which will make you feel like binge eating, another bad thing. That's why I can eat an entire large pie by myself when I come home from the bar. Dude, diet alone can create amazing changes. Couple this with an exercise routine factored in later, and you'll be a safe, healthier 220 by Dec. '02.
