feathering the clutch is whack, atleast to me it is. depends what kind of motor, but 5k is too high, except for slicks. just keep it at 3 grand drop the clutch and do not punch the gas i repeat do not punch the gas that's what everybody does but instead of feathering the clutch try to feather the gas pedal it works better!!! All the big guys do nhra ihra nira all of them!!!
all of this is IMO

Launch in the powerband.....

5200 or so, with tires inflated to 17psi...... no feathering of the clutch (lol damn 6 puck) so ya gotta go by the gas pedal...... but it's mostly ***** to the wall the whole way.......

Perfect = 7200 rpms and pulley left leg back as fast as possible without side stepping.

BTW did I mention 20x8x14 slicks @ 13-14 psi???
Sorry

don't rev it that high on the launch if you are on street tires you are just going to spin out, try launching at around 3000 and feathering the clutch you should be good and don't forget to heat up your tires first...

no such thing, it all depends on how much hp you have, what your gear ratio is, what kind of clutch you have, how worn the clutch is, what kind of tires you have, temperature of the track, etc. so many things you have to consider when trying to get a good launch.
