Default Is it easier to buy a chipped ECU w/out knock sensor for LS/VTEC?

I only have few parts left to get for my LS/VTEC to be ready for install.

Is it easier to buy a ECU like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WDVW

Then my ECU won't look for a knock sensor that isn't there correct? I figured it would be one less step that I'd need to do for it.

Don't quote me on this, but you may be able to turn off the capabilities in Chrome or Uberdata. Best bet would be to ask those guys to get an 'official' answer.

i'm 99.9% sure you can. i used a chipped ecu from a civic si, and i had no knock sensor. i'm pretty sure the guy who programmed it uses uberdata.
