engine reving up and down on its own
It doesn't matter if it's in the morning or in the afternoon when it's warm it does the same reving up and down for like a minute. And now my SRS light is on for about 5 seconds after starting the car. Could these be related? Also I am smoking alot in the morning. What should I look for? I have a 92 Accord LX.
Does this occur after the car had been sitting for a while... or the engine is cold? and could it be that the "smoke" is because its cool outside in the morning?
if so you have nothing to worry about. and that srs light is for about 3 seconds... its performing a test.. making sure the srs is working properly.

usually cars smoke in the morning cuz overnight water condensies in the pipes...but if it smells like burning oil look closely at the smoke, if its a lil blueish, then yea ur burning oil
