Does any know if these A.P.C. glass projectors can be use with an HID bulb? They normally work with 9006 for low beam and 9005 for high beam. Is there enough clearance inside the projector for the larger HID bulb?

 

No because there are hid projectors and non-hid projector housings. If you want hid's try doing a oem retrofit with those housings. Check out http://www.hidplanet.com for more hid technical questions as well.

 

No they will not. You can however get a 9006 HID kit.

Do those housings use H3 bulbs? H1?
Doesn't look like 9006 and 9005.

There are companies that make H3 HID bulb/kit.

However, the lightoutput will be bad.

 

I've never been a fan of APC products. Most of the projector headlights you can get will have bad light output. I'd get some JDM Stanley unit's or just stick with the stock one's.

 

Thanks guys, I decided to stick with my OEM headlights. I will do the black out look, like the JDM ones. Will this diminish the light output?

I will also sand and polish the headlights to make them look cleaner and nicer. Right now, my passenger side is kinda dull.

Yeah, the "black look" will look great.
If you have the funding I would suggest to invest the money into a HID-projector retrofit.
