Can I run without a muffler?

Well I believe that is some states you can run around without a muffler IF and only IF you have the resonator still in place. The resonator cuts down on a lot and if the rest of your exhaust is stock, you shouldn't have a problem with the noise.
Seeing as how you're in GA, you should ask around. My old car was like that and she still wasn't very loud. Then again, she was 2.0 and not 2.2. Not sure if that is a big difference in sound or not but hey...
