Default Stupid Question About Oil Changes

It's been a while since I've done an oil change and was wondering if there's anything I need to look out for when doing one on an RSX? I've only changed the oil on an older civic so I'm not sure if there's something I should be aware of.

Also, what's a good synthetic to use?

drain oil, check the oil drain plug gasket. when you install oil filter, lube the gasket with oil. check axle boots, any leaks from tranny, oil pan, anywhere. check for rattle on exhaust. just do a general check up.

check oil before you drain it (make sure your not losing it somewhere), drain oil, feel texture of oil (gritty = very bad) and smell (gas), check inside oil pan threads with finger for metal shavings, remove old filter, check to see if the old filter gasket is off of the block, lubricate new filter + fill with new oil, attach new filter (3/4 after contact), check drain plug seal, reinstall clean drain plug, torque to 19ft lbs, add new oil (4.8qts), run vechile to operating temperator, check oil lever and for leaks, check CV boots for rips and tears, check for any damage or oil build up or leaks.

and always use mobile1 synthetic oil.

GC!!! (German Castrol) It's in the Castrol Syntec 0W-30 bottles sold at Autozone. Great stuff! Many people can vouch for that oil on this website http://www.bobistheoilguy.com
