JDM right side drive
Not something im planning on doing, but something im toying round with in my head..... If i was to purchase a JDM Dashboard, aside from switching the pedals and steering column, what other obstacles would i face?
I really don't feel like doing alot of typing, but I'll say it can be done.
#1 It's not that hard if you have worked in a collision shop
#2 The wiring harness is in the same location from usdm to jdm cars (I've done this swap several times)
ok more people can fill in the rest of the blanks

you would have to switch over to the jdm fire wall and switch your wiring over to the other side the brake ms would then be on the other side and you would need new to reroght some brake line . correct me if i am wrong or missed something.

the underhood wiring is the same on usdm car and jdm cars. I thought I was clear on this. Don't make me post pic's

trying to use an atm or get food without a passenger.
the ugly holes now in the other side of the firewall.
new brake lines.
all custom cutting mostly guesswork for the steering and clutch and master cylinder.
theres more im sure.....

i currently work at a collision shop, the drilling the new holes and switching the pedals and steering column wouldnt be a huge problem. i just didnt know if there were any major obstacles. Like i said, its only a thought. I figured if i try anything like that the time is now because the engine is out waiting for parts.
