Default CTR or ITR pistons?

Does CTR pistons give you more compression than ITR? Which has a bigger dome on the piston heads?

Search is your friend... This is covered almost once a week, because noob's don't search first.

Here is a sticky from the All-Motor forum that answers your question and more.

That said, CTR will yield you the highest CR (~12.9:1 on a GS-R motor) of the Type R stuff. JDM ITR's will yield you ~11.5:1 (my pick for reliable daily street duty...), and USDM ITR's will yield you ~11.0:1 (all in a GS-R motor (or B18CX with a GS-R head))

Read the reference post, though, as there is a lot of good info in there.

Welcome to H-T, and I hope others don't burn you too bad for not searching (hint: activate flame suit now ...).
