i'm wondering what that black box is & what it does.. does it have something to do with cruise control? as you can see the cable was cut when the motor swap was done, but i'm not sure about that box and those other metal links connected to it. i was trying to find a rattle that seems to happen not when i push in the clutch, but when i let go of the accelerator.. thought it was coming from down there.

 

that wire cut looks like the cruise control cable, i don't know about that black box though.

 

Those metal rods and black box looks like it controls the heat and the vents.

The black box is a servomotor that controls the air flow of your heater/A/C system. It has nothing to do with the gas pedal. Trust me, I see those things all day long!!! I work at Denso Manufacturing Michigan Inc. and as you can see it says DENSO in nice big letters. But i think those might have been made in Japan...

I don't know why but all integra HVAC systems were white??? maybe because they were molded in Japan...

yea the black box is for the vents and climate controls and the cable is from cruise control.....looks like some one did a quick removal

thanks guys.. & yes, i know that cut wire is from the cc which my jdm b18c doesn't have damn, i wish i could figure out what this rattle is!

 

climate control cable... when you change out your climate control you'll see how to remove that thing. i kno cause i went jdm a couple years back
