Default 98 gsr ?'s

On the 98 integra gsr, does the engine harness go through the firewall and plug to the ecu like the 99-00 civic SI or does it stop at the shock towers?

yep I have a 96 and they stop at the shock tower. They all are at the shock towers 94 through 2001.You would need a full engine harness for a 94 or 95 they were obdI 96 up are obdII.

so would a 94,95 obd1 harness plug into the obd2 plug on my shock tower ?

I don't think so,you would have to get a engine harness and a cabin harness to with a obdI ecu.

i already have the obd1 ecu, and an obd2 - 1 harness.

i need a new engine wiring harness since mines chopped.

so ill need a 94-95 cabin/engine harness?

all the wires that i have are useless then for my application?

btw thanks for the replies.

You could use the obdII engine harness, then you could get a piggy back to plug into the obdII harness inside the car and then to the obdI ecu. What year is your car and motor. This method will work only if you have a obdII motor then you could run the obdI ecu with the piggy back.

Since it's a obdI motor your going to have to use obdI engine and cabin harness.Thats why the one in there is chopped up to make it work but to do it right your going to have to use the obdI harnesses.

Since it's a b16 your going to need a 94,95 b16 harness which is obdI.
