do u guys get reved on wen u guys drive around? everytime i cruise the streets, sum1 wants 2 race my ***. my car is pretty but can't smoke no1, i got sum engine work but accords r freakin heavy as hell. i guess dats 1 of the drawbacks which keeps this automoible off the racing scene. bsides it's automatic (yes, i said automatic =/). i plan on a h22a swap (manual) but dats ages from now. n e who...wen sum1 revs on u guys, smoke em 4 me hahaha! thanx!

If you took the money you spent on all the looks, you could've gotten an H22 swap done "relatively" affordable......

 

I don't get that in my Accord, but I used to in my del Sol & when I drove my brother's ghetto Civic, hehe.

 

If you drive around all show with all that crap on your car, you're gonna get reved on cause either people will think you are really fast and want a race, or people will assume you are a ricer and want to race. Hell, I'll rev on a ricer for fun. It's not neccessarily the cars that look fast that you have to worry about. It's the ones that look basically stock that will nine times out of ten rip you a new one. I've beaten many a ricer, but I was once smoked by a stock looking A2 Jetta.

Don't take offense to any of this, but I call it like I see it.

My car LOOKS stock, but i get revved on by everything!! I've even been revved on by MINI-VANS!! Hence my title under my name...

Why is that?

 

I usually don't race on the street, but one time this guy in a new civic si revved on me, so i decided to show him what time it was. Boy, was he surprised!

 

yes sir that is the case. I've been reved on once in 5 months. I guess they're intimidated by the Skunk2 wheel studs.

You guys should consider yourself fortunante. This whole past year that I have owned my car, I have <u>never</u> been reved on.

 

I get dissed all the time. Not sure why,,,, car looks stock except for the GReddy SP exhaust.

I get nerdhead$ trying pass, tailgating, jumping off at stop lights, cutting me off, pulling right in front or me, etc. etc. But I have to try restrain myself a little better to not blow them off the street,,,,,,,, I am going to get a ticket one of these days.

 

I used to get it all of the time. Most of the time the people are going the other way at a stoplight or something. I even had one guy chase me down. I ran him three times, and gave him a jump each time and always beat him. The third time I decided to squeeze on him. hehe. He turned around after that. LOL.

It hardly ever happens now.

 

i remember in my ricer days when i had supewhite bulbs everywhere in the front, all these people in civics and integras would rev on me, and i would beat some of them.. now that i have jdm headlights, and amber it looks like stock and no one really revs on me anymore. its kinda like a sleeper now.

 

Maybe you should not buy anymore "show" parts and buy hooked on phonics.. Really, type like you have some kind of inteligence.. Yes, I know I can't spell

I like when I get revved on, because then I make sure they see they hear/see the nitrous coming from the purge valve.....

Yes,,,, some of the grammar, spelling etc. on some posts is pretty entertaining. I am sure some of it is just internet vernacular but I am afraid some of it is for real.

Yeah...I know the feeling with jetta's they fuggin suck...i thought this one was gonna be a breaze to race but he ended up killing me with nothing more (that i could see on the exterior) than exhaust. I officially hate jettas!

 

I don't hate Jettas because of my experience. Actually, I have agined quite a sense of respect for them.

 

Never been revved on in the Accord but the Teg Type R... EVERY light SHEESH!

Dont get revved on at all. Only this one time coming back from NC. But that was after I toasted this integra and was getting off the highway. As he was passing by 3 minutes later he revved. I guess it was just a sigh of respect.

Most times I feel like looking around for trouble but I never get any good action..
