lude starts up then dies when i let off key ???

Default lude starts up then dies when i let off key ???

check the batt , its ok and terminals are tight , but if i put some pressre on the key the power come back and i can start the car, and then if i let go all the power goes out , like all the starup lights on the dash , i have head light and radio power tho

Sounds like your ignition switch might be going up..

so its the ign switch ?how can i be sure ? i have covers off the stearing wheel looking for it i dont see it any help fellas ? i hear the realy clicking also ?

Common problem with 'Ludes - I dunno. But for 96-99 Civics, there was a defective ignition switch recall - I was one of them.

If you bought Part #13 or #3, it will come with that wire harness. Part #13 should be all you need to replace.

Can you get ahold of a multimeter in order to really determine if that is the problem? That harness/switch is about $40.
