I believe they're 42mm at the throttle plate. too small for my setup I think and I'd rather buy a real set than some crap someone made or that I made.

If it's going on a relatively stock motor, you may want to note that the 954RR fuel injectors have the same flow rate as the stock B series fuel injectors.

I've had a set of what I believe to be 929 throttle bodies sitting around for over a year, that I planned on trying to mod to my B16 but never got around to do. How different are the 929 and the 954 setups?

I am pretty sure that is correct, and the GSXR750/1000's are 43mm and twm and other "real" itb's are 44mm.

The 954 setup is 4mm larger at the throttle plate than the 929 setup. Consider a Suzuki setup as you can build an equal length setup.

The most usable GSXR 750/1000 setups are 42mm.

Is this to say that the Suzuki setups are inferior in some way? Hayabusa throttle bodies are 46mm at the plate.

-Kendall, who's upcoming 48mm Hayabusa setup should come within swinging distance of the Jenvey's on a flow bench. Muah-ha-ha-ha-ha.

No implication of inferiority at all, just trying to state what I "thought" I knew.
