which d series engine has the most power?
ive finally found out that i want to do a Dseries swap on my 92 civic hatch dx.
i spoke w/ a guy from the yard and he said i have three choices. the d15, zc (i think thats what it was called), and the d15b.
he said that the most powerful would be the d15b vtec with about 130 hp for $250. i have worked with the place before and it was a positive expierence.
i like that i dont have to change the tranny or anything else, just the ecu. plus the motor works fine till i make my choice on which ecu i want.
mainly my question is..
is the d15b the strongest engine out of these three? is there another engine that i should look into w/ this simplicity and price?
i plan on some bolt on basics in the future just in case. i read that these engines dont respond to them that well.

It, along with a ZC, are the "strongest" in terms of HP levels for a stock D series. I know the 1.5l engines supposedly have weaker cranks though. You might want to skip the peak hp levels and look into a Z6.
