legend caliper problems on an integra
ok so i got the right rotors from fast brakes, got the right calipers from advance auto parts ( 2 piston legend calipers)
i grind off the lip like instructed at this how to : http://www.gs-r.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5477
the rotor is still rubbing the caliper alittle . . i grind the lip more, it doesnt make a diff
insight and more info would be great guys, i need to have this shitbox car able to roll out soon
thanks everyone
btw: make sure you use eye protection when grinding off, my eye is def fudged up right now but should be fine now that the metal is out

is it rubbing the caliper or the bracket? If its not the bracket then you either need to compress the calipers. The brakes rub slightly (ever so slightly) period, but if you dont grind enough material off then when you put the wheel on, it will LOCK UP and it wont spin at all.
it rubs without pads on and the pistons are compressed all the way, its slight rubbing, sand when the wheel is on its hard to move it, its the bracket( inside side) that is rubbing
what rotors are you running? I know the hat offset is different depending on what model you get them for, so that might be the problem. Even 1-2mm offset difference could cause rubbing (or grinding of more material) and you also have to make sure that you grind the metal off flush or else it will have a lip and cause all kinds of problems.
yea i got that rotors from fastbrakes. he said they are the thick ones and are guaranted not to warp . . . i grinded down the "lips" to flat like it said in the diy guide . .
