Everything depends upon the tuner and the dyno it will be tuned on. Some tuners are more expensive than others, just as some shops cost more to rent out the dyno than others. Hondata has a dealer list on their website. Look up a few that are close to you and call.

ha ha ha!!!

up here in northern cali expect to spend at least $140 an hour for dyno time. and then around the same for seat time for a street tune/partial throttle tune.

and then multiply that by at least 2 - 3 hours.

what is your set up and what is making you think it needs to be tuned? If its a built motor then yeah it needs to be tuned, if it just has some bolt ons then just look into investing into like a p28 with a Skunk2 program and that should be fine, but where I have my car tuned its $175 an hour, sometimes you can find a place for $120 an hour but for good tuning expect to pay $$$, I just had my car tuned and it cost me $900.

sweet Jesus man. where do you go? that seems an awful lot for just tuning. but i guess 5 hours worth isn't toooo extreme.

Yeah it was about 5 hours of tuning at $175 an hour, fully built GSR driven on the street.

damn, did u already buy the hondata ecu. u could have set up uberdata, baught a wideband O2 sensor for around $300 and tune the car urself. street tune the fuel maps and then take it to a dyno to fine tune the fuel maps for power and tune the ignition timing. i set up and tune peoples car with uberdata and thats what i do.
i have the ill hookups on dyno time. i get only charged anywhere from $100 to $125 for about 5 hours on a DYNO JET. well thats cuz i know the owner of the shop and i bring in the cars i tune to his dyno. he charges $100 an hour for dyno time for the customers i bring in instead of $125 an hour.
**** i only charge $50 to street tune the cars and nothing to dynotune the car. all the dyno money goes to the owner of the shop..........i think i need to raise my price

Tell us what your set up is, then we can tell you what would be your best investment as far as tuning goes.
