hello everybody

i just got me some straight and bended pipes for my chargepipes setup and there is some rust inside and outside the pipes.

how can i get rid of thw rust inside the pipe?

i was thinking about gelvnize them inside and out.... do i need to get gid of the rust before the galvanization?

(my dad isnt sure but he think that the shop that does this process have some kind of acid that will remove the rust.... could it be?)

We usually glass bead to outside

you can use a flapwheel or some scotch brite with wd-40 as well

 

eastwood sells a rust encapsulator paint. you just paint right over the rust and your done. no idea what kind of heat it can stand up to. you could always call them and ask.

 

"navel jelly" should do the job.I'm sure its available world wide.

ok.... i got the rust under comtrol.....

now what do you say about the galvanizing the chargepipes ?

 

i say you save your money and just paint them
