Feedback from engine through speakers?
I have some feedback coming through my speakers. I think its from the engine b/c its related to RPM, like reving the engine makes the noise faster. I have run my power wire to the amp on the oposite side of the car and the RCA cables are on the drivers side. The RCA's go from the sterio under the drivers feet carpet along the side of the car and to the trunk where the amp is for my componants. What can i do to fix this?
Is there like a magnetically shielded type of RCA wires i could get or something?

Ah the whining noise. I believe that has something to do with your alternator. All you need is a power cap, 1 farat.
Check your ground wires also. Make sure it's touching bare metal and not sitting on paint.

Yes, i have sanded off all the paint on my ground points. What do you mean i need a new cap, and what is a farat? Like distributor cap??

Like a capacitor cap, in parallel with your power feeder to filter it. (and it's farad, not farat)
You may have some cables already running along the driver's side, another thing to try is running the rca cables under the carpet in the center of the car, under the console etc.
There are shielded cables you can get, and you can also buy line filters for the rca cables that sometimes work. There is also a filter capacitor available that attaches directly at the battery.

Ground Loop Isolator
This is my area of expertise as I do this for a living lol finally something I can contribute to. A ground loop isolator should fix this, a capacitor wouldn't solve this at all. A capacitor holds a completly different function.
