Hey just bought my first turbo kit and i wanted to ask a few questions ..... The kit I have

Rev Hard t3/t04 turbo
Rev Hard Manifold
Delgate Mark2 wastegate
Greddy BOV
Greddy Turbo Timer
8 inch IC

Now For Random Questions

1. The Downpipe it came with was messed up , where can i order a new one ?
I have to get a Rev Hard Specific downpipe right ?


2. How hot does the manifold get ? Would 1200 temp paint be fine to paint it ? It looks dirty now so i wanted to make it look nice

3 Im missing misc gaskets where can I purchase them...


4 I paid 1400 bucks for the kit used with a Brand New IC ..... Was that a fair price ?

its frustrating when none one replys, expect that alot.

The price is good, u should have gotten some form of manegment, even if ti is an FMU.

 

1200 degree paint... or any paint for that matter will be insufficient. Only ceramic coating will stand up to it.

have an exhaust shop fab up a new downpipe for you

gaskets... depends on what. there are some places online, but it won't be easy!!

$1400 is peanuts... I spent way more on my simple-*** kit.

 

go atpturbo.com to get your gaskets there, get some gauges man, boost, egt, wideband

 

1. We have RH downpipes on the shelf.

2. High temp paint won't work. Ceramic coating is a better option.

3. We have turbo gaskets on the shelf.

4. You made out. That's a good price.

 

Im gonna have to get new piping , because my new IC from johnny race car is 2.5 inch. After that a new downpipe ,and tapped oil pan i should be good to go

You can keep the same piping if you wanted to, just get reducer couplers

 

i can make you a new downpipe for 185$ shipped tig welded 2.5 mandrel.

 

project dc2 what would be the difference between your downpipe compaired to a
rev hard from race specialists for $128.00

And how much is it for the intercooler piping in 2.5 inch ? I have a gsr in a 93 hatchy with a 99 front end ........if that helps

 

Sounds like you got quite a good price. As far as a downpipe, just take it to any exhaust shop and they should be able to put one one.
