Default Anyone with blown KYB's?
Just wondering if anyone has blown out their KYB AGX's. I'm getting shocks this week. Just wondering if KYB's are any good. It's Either KYB's or Koni's. But the Koni's are a lot more $.

kyb says their agx's are meant to handle more than a 1.5" drop, so i guess head their advice or something is bound to happen. i personally went with tokico illumina setup since im probably a lil more than 2.5"!

AGX's are OK for the money but they aren't meant to handle the stress of drops over 1.5"s... I'd spend the extra $$ and do it right the first time. Buy the Koni's, you'll be happier in the long run

I know Max GSR on this board blew his AGX shocks before. Saving up for the Konis is worth the trouble.

i dont think this argument will ever be settled, i have been told KYB's were better than Tokico's. hmmm. If you have the $$$ go with Koni's

I have a pair of blown AGX's in the garage. I played with them last night, since I sold my old springs yesterday. Totally dead. No rebound at all.

i have a 2 inch drop with 2 year old agx and no problems yet. don't drive very hard though so maybe that's why mine have lasted
