Hi guys. I figured I would post this in here hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I have an 87 civic hatch that I just bought as a daily driver. It's got the 1.3 carburated engine witha 4spd manual trans. The car starts every time, but once you take your foot off the gas the idle dies right out. I've checked for vacuum leaks all around the intake and carb, and have changed as many of the vacuum lines as I could. Does anyone have any idea why it won't idle? Are there any common problems that I can check for? Does anyone know what the black box on the firewall with all of the vacuum lines going into it is? Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
