Default Cam choice on big bore high compresion...need advice

I'm getting ready to purchase cams for my setup. Here's a rundown of what I have done so far:

-Dart 85mm bore standard deck block
-CP 12.8:1 compression pistons
-Eagle lightweight 89mm crank and rods
-HyTech header
-TWM 50mm ITBs
-B16A head, extensive port work
-Ferrea Endurance springs, Ti retainers, seat locators, SS valves

I'm trying to decide on cams to use in this setup. I want something that is going to make power, but yet have SOME street drivability, this isn't my daily driver so it's not like it's going to be out everyday. I've been looking into the Buddy Club 4 cams, but would like to hear some other imput too. Thanks in advance.

I have looked at nearly every thread. All of Tbone's dyno charts etc... I want some feedback that people have, the only ones I can similarly relate to are Tbone's with the ITBs. I pretty much have it narrowed down BC4's or Rocket M24X or M25's. Like I said, I want ADVICE, not what to run.

i have almost the same setup as yours, bore/stroke/compression, etc. except im using a manifold setup. Im looking into the BC4's. Im still trying to find out the exact valve timing events and duration at 1mm for skunk2 stage 3 cams.

Knowing the specs of the M24's and M25s would help too.

BC4's

IN:
Duration: 266 deg @ 1mm, 12.3mm Lift
Opening@1mm: 37 BTDC
Closing@1mm: 49 ABDC
Lobe Centerline: 96 deg

EX:
Duration: 262 deg @ 1mm, 11.8mm Lift
Opening@1mm: 61 BBDC
Closing@1mm: 21 ATDC
Lobe Centerline: 110 deg

Skunk2 Stage 3

IN:
Duration 267 deg @1mm, 12.8mm lift (I think??)
Opening@1mm: 34.5 degress BTDC
Closing@1mm: 52.5 degress ABDC
LOBE CENTER at 99 deg

EX:
Duration ??? deg @ 1mm, 11.8mm lift
Opening@1mm: ?? degress BBDC
Closing@1mm: ?? degrees ATDC
LOBE CENTER at ??? deg

Not sure if the specs for the skunk2 stage 3's are correct???? My decision would be easier to make, if i had all the specs in front of me, that id like to try with my combo, and i could give you my opinion. sorry for the shitty reply.

i'm most likely gonna try the BC4's. if the specs are correct, they have the same Hi lobe as the Skunk 2 Stage 2s.

I didn't want to go too much bigger than my previous Toda Bs, but i thought there was more room for cam, so BC4 is a start.

I would have the eagle crank checked for straightness, taper on journals and balance.

Ive seen a couple of storked and bored hi com motors make good power on 403s. You may want to add that to your list of choices.

Rocket, all of that has been done already, had to be slightly balanced. Taper and starightness was fine. What cams would you recommend?

Endyn bumstix cams or JUN 3s ... done quite a few of these motors and they make excellent power ...

If you have over 80lbs of seat pressure I would go with RM or Crower. If you have less 80lbs on the seat then most brands have a good "hot" cam that will be a good wear match for the springs.

Is that from 1mm to 1mm? I think it's around 270 degrees for the M25s.

I'm using Ferrea valves, springs and retainers with 5 angle.

I'm using a standard Honda valve cut, I have had VERY bad luck with multi angle cuts.

I'll have some dyno plots soon with a stroker motor ...
