Default 92 honda civic cx

i would like to know if i buy a 96 and up B18C motor complete, do i need to wire anything? i do have the 94 obd1 engine harness.
right now i have a 94 GSR motor in my car.

u can use all the obd1 stuff from your motor such as dizzy, injectors, alternator. then youll be good.

If it's a US market engine, you won't need to use the OBD-1 engine harness, the 96 one will work, assuming the motor is complete with all of the OBD-2 components.

my car is ref tag, so i will alway pass smog (CA), do you recommended to rebuilt my 94 engine or buy a newer verison engine (US), i keep hearding the obd2 engine has alot of problems, eg engine lite turn on, smog, o2 sensors...etc...

i dont think it really worse.. it just has more restrictions.. so harder to get gains out of an OBD2 motor..
but if u have an OBD1 gsr just re&re the distrbuter, injectors, and alternator, like "fabs" mentioned above.. use the same ECU aswell
