on the back of my cluster there is a screw right behind vehicle speed gauge... this screw is also the signal for the vehicle speed.

hook it up to the blue/white wire on the ecu. i wired in a greddy timer into my 97 dx.

a question for you. which two ignition wires did u use? for some reason sometime my timer will kick itself back on after its timed down and will turn like acc on like the radio and cluster lights.

any ideas? i think its bad wiring inside the unit but i wanted to verify which wires u had it on.

thanks

there is only 2 ignition wires that need to be spliced. I forget the colors allready... white/black and black/yellow i think, but i know that the solid white wire is the acsessory. I just hooked up my greddy timer yesterday and it works perfect.

can u trace the wire and tell me which two wires are being used for ignition.

mine kicks on randomly and i don't know why

that harness is way to expensive. it should be 20 at most. if you can't soder 3 wires u must be retarded. lol

lol

well it looks like that harness puts the blue timer wire to solid yellow accessory wire and green timer wire to black/yellow stripe.. i had it like that but the timer only worked like 30% of th total time. so i changed the blue timer wire to the white/black stripe ignition wire and its been working 90% of the total time.

i heard from a few others that greddy electronics are known to be flaky

i think im gonna open it up and look inside the timer for bad connections cuz im not sure whats goin on

My speed jumps with this one everyonce in a while. Could it be because the purple wire isn't hooked up to the speedo wire in the cars harness?
