when i drove my car it started to idle at 3k but if i tapped on the gas real quick it would go back down to around 800 and so i tried cleaning it with throttle body cleaner but that didnt solve the probelm so my question is should i take the plate off and the throttle rotor off. then take off the throttle rod and clean inside that hole that holds the rod also

check the tension wire of your throttle body. u might have something stuck or the tension is way too tight. u might also need a little lubrication so spary some WD-40 on the joints u see on the throttle body.
