how can i clean the in side of my headlights?

Default how can i clean the in side of my headlights?

I have a 91 crx i am replacing the head lights because a land cruiser ran over the front of my car https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1105177 as seen here and now i am only lacking the radiator i got some head lights today and one looks great the other has dirt or something in the bottom i was wanting to know if there was a way to clean them out with out them gettin a pool stuck in them.

You can put them in the over @ about 225 for a couple mins then seperate them and clean the inside. If you do this you can get any yellow off the plastic, or you could do some DIY black housing.

Wait until the glue looks kinda gooey, otherwise your going to crack the housing.

If you separate the lens and housing and find out that it isnt dirt, but that the reflective surface is deteriorating, don't use too much elbow grease trying to clean this up. It will only make things worse.
You would probably be better off searching your local parts yard for some gently used, non-cracked headlights which can be picked up for pretty cheap.

does this work for the yellowing that happens to the lenses? I really want to get rid of that stuff.

if you have plastic headlights and it's yellow, get some polish and buff it out. Don't put it in the oven. Only use the oven to separate the two.

the yellowing usualy happens on the outside. some wet sanding will take it off.
