arent they both??

they both are labeled to get over 30 mpg. how much more economic do you want to get?? the dx has longer gears which would be a bit better for fuel

the dx for sure. heres my experience i have a z6 and my friends shop put a dx tranny on, long story. anyways i would drop out of vtec when i shifted but i could get like 300+ miles on a full tank. now a couple of weeks ago i bought a y8 tranny and u can definately feel the difference but now i get like 275 on a full tank. i could get more but i dont have a low gas light and everytime i filll up it says im below E but i always put in like a lil over 10 gallons

The dx has longer gear ratios so it will give you better fuel economy.
