Default Anyone using a Bosch Universal O2 Sensor?

I just put in a new header (came with turbo kit), and I couldn't get the o2 sensor out of the stock header. I ended up stripping the bolt, even though I used a o2 sensor socket and an impact wrench.. and bolt-remover spray. So I'm trying to get this car running today, and I'm wondering if I'm going to have major problems if I run a Bosch universal o2 sensor. It's the only one that I can get today, without going to the dealership and letting them rape me for $260. Do any of you have it installed with no problems?

Hrm, I found one thread where bauley said that he hates them.. and a couple of others said that they're fine I guess I'll go get it, and if I have problems, I'll just take it right back.. although, I don't know how I'm going to tell if I have problems since I just installed my new turbo :/

gah! that means I won't have a car until Wednesday. I know everyone trashes Bosch because it's the cool thing to do here, but how many have actually tried that sensor and can verify that it's trash?

I have...among many others.
Id buy one in a REAL pinch, but then replace it with a good one asap.
I keep a shitty bosch as a backup

People dont bash them because "its the cool thing to do"....people bash them because they are seriously pieces of ****

I dont know why Im answering...its all been said before tons of times.
They fail easily, are too sensitive/fragile, and throw codes for things that are not happening.
(IE- put it in your cat and it'll probably throw the code for a damaged converter...even though the converter has less than 3k miles on it.)
