Drilling Spot Welds on USDM & JDM Firewalls...
i need help. could someone on here try and find me a picture of where the spot welds are at on both a JDM and USDM firewall? if someone has done this before and has pictures of where they drilled that would be alot of help. also what kind of drill but should i use? i know there are drill bits out there specifically made for spot welds but where do i get one? anyone know of any sites?

Your probably going to end up drilling 30+ spot welds out, so an illustration is a little far fetched. If you have no prior experience welding or working with structural metal I would pass the job on to a good body shop. If you look at the firewall closely and have everything off of it including the dash it should be pretty self explanatory.
i have everything off i just want to make sure im going the right spot weld. ive had experience doing both drilling welds and welding.
maybe an illustration will help by showing me where every weld is, whether theres 5 or 500. ive read there is about 35-40 spot welds on the firewall. im just looking for some help.
