Jackson racing is poop ****, makes like 48 whp for 2300$. Why dont you just go with a drag turbo kit? 3200$ or something, and also vortech is a good kit if you really want a supercharger. But still wont make the same numbers as a turbo kit.

SC Supercharging is the easiest and most cost effective means of adding an average of 46% more horsepower and 31% torque to your vehicle.

http://www.vortechsupercharger....html

there are also different kinds of Superchargers, vortec offers the cenrtifugal type which is accompanied with the classic SC whine. JRSC more like the roots type blower/SC which is quieter. Both make good power, want more power? turn up the boost, both have that option. Look around, they are out there

roots style superchargers are more gas efficient. unless you romp on the gass, you'll get the same fuel economy. they only activate at WOT.

plus they make better low end boost than centrifugal.

Im familiar with forced induction. I was just curious who mankes the best bang for buck? Is there anyone other than jr or vortech who make good power, at a good price? The reason I ask, Is because I heard another user mention a manufacturer, I am uneducated on. He had nothing but good things to say about them. I prefer a centrifugal set up as thats what im more familiar with. Love that wheel; love that whine. Thanks

the procharger system is a centrifugal system. and if u have an integra you could get ~300whp outta it with this system.

I think this is the set up I heard about. Im kinda out of it, ive been focusing on my sti, and have stopped researching other interests. Do you know anyone with this set-up; and if so, how bad is torque steer? Will this kit completely kill me as an autocrosser? Im in school now, and if im going to make it through without being completely broke, I need to sell my sti, and my vr. Im going back to the dc2 platform, and want to set up a goal so I can know what im going to be driving as I cry myself to the relization of losing my sti. Sorry about the rant, any and all info is greatly appreciated.

I paid 1200 for my jrsc. Its legal in ca, and it adds more than 48 whp. If you dont believe me ill show you a dyno.

Arias pistons with total seal rings and crower rods are what a couple friends use for their rides. One with a jr charged EF hatch (sohc) and one with a turboed GSR. The hatch is pushin near 14 pounds and is daily driven and the GSR, also daily driven pushes near 24 pounds. NICE!
When i build my block, im going with arias pistons too.

Its cool man were all here to learn; and if not you need to check yourself. Thanks for the bump, and a name for me to research. Your looking to re-build? Is the procharger set up your looking into not puttin down enough boost; or do you just want to do a rebuild due to the mileage?

i just plan on building my motor so it will handle the boost and not blow up on me when i drive it hard so yea. Ive already tried searching but i could not find any solid answers so i had to ask here since we're sorta on topic and with the procharger at 8lbs, u get ~300whp.

Bump for the night!
