Default 90 DA b16 obd1 cable or hydro???

i got a engine comming soon and now im contemplating what type of tranny shall i get... i have thought about getting a hydro conversion for a while but im just not sure if it is really worth it cause i dont have all that much money for now and am not 100% on whats involved... if anyone has done this (this mean u) just help me out give me some damn insight as to what im looking at here

its not worth it just keep the car cable its just a way of money however make the car obd1 that will give u a hp gain

thre are good cable trannys
ys1 gsr/jdm b16 forexample
very short gear
1st is shortter than itr
2.3. is same
and 4,5 is also shorter

a good one around 250-400 but all integra trannies from 90-93 are cable so dont get it twisted

actually ys1 is not hydro after 91. All 90-93 cars are cable transmissions. Not until 94 did it become hydro.

yea ur right i dont know where i pulled that number outta considering they stopped after the g2... cool well ill look around for this ys1 cable... adn was this made soley for the 1.7L GS-R at the time? well i gotta get going but thanks for correcting my dumbass

There are two types of YS1, the long geared YS1 that came in the 92-93 Integra RS/LS/GS/LS-S and the short-geared YS1 that came in the 92-93 GSR. It's pretty hard to find the gsr ys1, but I would look around g2ic.com and H-T classifieds and see what you can find.

Also, if you want to find out how to do the hydro conversion, here is Armed Ferret's writeup from g2ic.com.

its ys1&gt;same as usdm 92-93 gsr
