Default How well should the 4G S handle boost?

According to physics, rod ratios, compression, etc. should the red-headed bastard step child of the H series engines be able to handle any amount of boost? This isn't a "what should I do" post, this is a "IS it possible post." BTW this is for a fellow UW student, not me.

I have heard they can take a load of boost.

I talked to someone who CLAIMED they ran 18 psi on a stock motor and a phat fuel system
