Default After turbo install, getting check engine light.

OK I'm throwing code P1491 Auxilary Emissions Controls. I don't know what to do to fix it. I have a 98 Prelude and if you need any further information just post and I'll provide it. Thanks

What type of engine management are you running? What is your setup?

Did you remove or block your EGR?

Right now all I have is a VAFC. I'm planning on getting emanage (because tuner here uses it a lot) soon. But I don't have the money.(But I"m not really driving the car so I don't have to worry about much now.)

Setup is....
t3/t4 turbo
custom manifold
custom downpipe 2.5 inch
wastegate with 8 1/2 pound spring
stock internals
450 cc injectors
255lph fuel pump

I think that's it...

I don't know. I didn't install it myself. How can I check?

Thanks for the help.

look by ur throttle body and see if your egr is still there.

it might be dirty, if its dirty take off the egr and clean it real good

Do you even have a "missing link" since you don't have an engine management system?

Ok. I'll do that today and come back with results.
