Default CR-V K24 into eg hatch

Has anyone done this is it worth the time the motor is only rated at 160 hp and 162 tq, 2004 cr-vsomeone i know its a female of course is willing to give me her motor she wrecked the car. right now i have a GSR motor with skunk 2 intake manifold dc 4-2-1 headers and complete exhaust... would it push about the same or would it be that much faster and what i was thinking about doing was .. finding a type s tranny and head to swap on the K24. maybe to produce more power plus that 6 speed has me mezmorized...

any advice or links to how-to's or reviews would be nice thanks.

That hurt my eyes.
You said you know someone that wrecked a CRV and she is giving it to you for free? I think this would be a fun engine to have with all the torque. Later on you could swap the head but for now you could have fun going light to light with the 162tq. of torque. Im not sure, but it would make sence that this would be faster than the GSR motor just because of the low end grunt.

thats what im kinda thinking i can just put the gsr motor in my coupe and the k24 in my hatch.. i really really want a 6 speed tranny though.

I raced this guy last night who i stomped on the street when we raced but we got on the freeway andi was going like 130 and this dude in his type S just came creeping by me all sick and i didnt have another gear to come after his *** in. I know that the crv tranny is a 5 speed.. ima have to swap that.

does anyone know if the k24 will mount up the same as the k20 using the hasport kit. and if that crv tranny will even work at all/../.
