I’m currently looking at purchasing one of these when i switch universities next year. I’ve searched but have yet to find any information at all on the J30 (i believe that’s the engine powering it) and likes dislikes about the car. I was wondering what upgrades were available and if Honda was planning on switching drive terrain anytime soon (I am hopeful but doubtful)

I’m not too fond of getting another FWD car again. However winters here are brutal. this would also be my 3rd accord and I’ve had very good luck with them. Plus, it will keep insurance from bending me over... again.

 

There never was and probably never will be much aftermarket support for the Honda V6's. This is sad as these engines have great potential. As far as the aftermarket you won't find (or will have a hard time finding) anything more than a few bolt ons.

 

There is a lot of potential with the 7th gen accord v6's The tranny is solid and the motor is already potent from the factory. There are quite a few things you can do to them to make them faster as well. Good luck on your choice, but you should have known that coming in here and asking would get a bunch of responses for the accord.
