Default Considering a 07-ish Accord, need help.

My wife is considering a 2007-ish Honda Accord sedan to replace her 03 CRV.
It is just going to be a daily driver for her, no mods, and an automatic.

Trying to find out if we should get a 4 cyl, or a 6 cyl.
We want whichever is the more reliable out of the 2 motors ,and was wondering if one gets better mileage than the other?

Also, if anyone could point me to a site dedicated to this gen Accord, i'ld appreciate it.

Is that *< 2007? Because 2007ish could be 2008, and then we are talkinga about another gen.

*< 2007. Both engines are great. The V6 transmission can be finicky for some owners from discussions. I4 would get better MPG, but do keep in mind the Accord is a big and heavy car, so don't expect EPA MPG numbers. It does feel about 30hp short. Wife won't noticed.

2008+. The V6 transmission is a 4 shaft version. So one would think it's an improvement, we will see. The 3.5 V6 auto has VCM so the MPG can be very similar to the I4.

I should have said that the 2007 and before is what we were considering.
Like i said, reliability is the key factor, and price, that's why we're not looking at the 08+ models.
She prefers an automatic but standard isn't out of the question.
Someone who works at the dealer told us that we would expect the same mileage out of the Accord as we get with our 03 CRV automatic.

Anybody have some input as to what they get for real-world mileage on their Accords and the type of driving they do.
