axle nut 1993 accord
Yea, its not reverse, it's just a pain to get off. Try and use penetrate fluid on it to losen it up. If you can't get it by hand, your probally going to need a good impact to get it off.

U will need a breaker bar, and a very long pipe, like maybe 4-5 ft long. Thats a good way to do it without an impact. Its all about the leverage

chances are your going to break that screw driver before loosening the axle nut.
Either leave the car on the ground or have someone hold the brakes.
make sure you have it unstaked and use a 1/2" or larger breaker bar with a pipe for extra leverage. Also, make sure that pipe is a strong steel pipe. If the pipe is aluminum or other lesser metal, the pipe could flex and not give you the leverage your looking for.
It's a bitch, I broke like 3 rathets trying to remove my driver side for the first time. I was using the handle from my jack which was aluminum and it wasn't cutting it. After breaking 3 rachets and a breaker bar my friend brought me a steel pipe from his work and that worked great. It was still hard but it worked much better than the aluminum pipe from my jack. I now use that same steel pipe when breaking the crank pulley bolt loose.
