Default sus help on my 92 teg

guys this matter has been bugging me for a while...i used to have koni yellows and neuspeed springs which was extremely bumpy. i decided to change the springs a while back becuase my car was dropped ugly. so now i have koni yellows all around, rear has ebay coilover sleeves with the neuspeeds, front is just coilover sleeves along with some ebay crap...(the sleeves are ebay crap too.)

MY Dillema: the car rides like ****...worst than my old setup...i know buying ebay **** is crap...but my boi's da9 is dropped way lower than mine and his car isn't as bad as my ride. so do you guys know exactly what i need to change, maybe the bushings on the trailing arms and lca's...
i will buy tein ss in the near future but if my car is still gonna ride like **** then maybe spending all that money for the ss's maybe not a gud idea... please help

Only thing I can think is maybe the shocks have been hurt in some way or they are worn out (not so likely). If the shocks have been abused an hurt in some way, they could be blown. So even a Koni could not do a good damping job if they are out of maintenance.

Have you tried adjusting the shocks? Can you turn the adjuster? If not, that's tell tale that the shaft has bottomed on the valving at the bottom of the shock and that's bad all around. Like....need new ones.

The only easy way to check is 1) if there is oil coming out of the shock or 2) bouncing the car and knowing what it should do. But the only correct way to do it is to have the shock sent out to be tested (at Koni for example). Hope that helps.

How are your ebay coilover mounted. It is especially dangerous to use coilovers that arn't specifically designed for Koni shocks. They must sit directly on the snap ring and encompase the outter diameter to keep it from expanding. You cannot just place the coilover sleeve on top of the koni chrome spring perch. Their regular spring perch is designed to carry a load in a very specific way & if it isn't set properly (spring directly on outter edge), the snap ring will have the opportunity to come loose & the perch will drop to the bottom of the shock. There have been several threads about this, and it seems like it's just a matter of time before they fail. Get the proper coilover sleeves or sell you Koni's...

PS: The wrong coilovers void your Koni warranty too (read all about it here)...
