Re: new shocks
simply do to the fact you have ebay coilovers i wouldnt even bother.
they bounch and ride like ****, i have ridden in a car with ebay coils, and tockico illumias, and it still rode like crap and bounched alot.
new shocks will help out alot, but if you want a good ride you need quality parts, and ebay sleeves arent quality.

i bagg on you? how by saying that ebay coil overs are garbage? its because they are.
at least i answer your questions which are dumb,
dont buy cheep parts, youll never be happy, ebay coils are fine if all you care about is being low, and thats about it.

As much as I hate to say this, you can actually those coilovers to ride pretty good. Buy decent shocks and it will ride better. If you are trying to save a buck I would go with Skunk2, if you got a little more Tokico Illumina's, I personally wouldn't run anything but Koni Yellows or better.

Re: new shocks
well heres my opinion on sleeved coilovers. first off, they are not meant for street use. why do you think stock cars come with such ride heights. secondly, there purpose is meant for track use. i dont care what coilover/strut combo you run on the street, there will be "bounciness" no matter what, but to what degree of bounciness depends on what brands you use. and third and for most, its your car, do what you want to it. personally im running matrix 2.5 inch drop springs in the front of my eg hatch, and im running option racing coilovers sleeves in the rear.
im doing it this way, so i can cut down on the lateral forces being transferred to the rear of the car on hard launches at the track.
