Default problem with RC injectors in d16a6 intake manifold

I drive a 91 civic SI, with the D16A6 factory motor. In the manifold where the injector goes in their are those fat rings that the injector sits on, so the injector does does no slip on, "wont fit", anyone out there built, or turbocharged their SOHC motor and ran into this problem? did yall buy custom rings or did you make it fit "shove it in until its in", or did you modify it?

is it off by alot?

If not take some motor oil and lube up the seal a little bit and see if it will slide in.

its off enough for it too only go in half way at most, even with all the cramming as possible, did you run into a similar problem?
