im putting together a b20vtec set up using a 12:5 compression weisco pistons, stock rods with ARP rod bolts. Stock gsr head upgraded valvetrain. would i be able to hit 200whp with CTR cams or do i need non OEM cams to make 200whp. i plan on using a chipped p28 witih hondata.
My friend at work has close to the same setup and made 200whp from 12.5 compression and Skunk2 Stage 2s in his B18. It's perfectly driveable, idles fine. You shouldn't have a problem with running any cams you want in that 2.0L.
Why do you want mild cams? You can certainly make more than 200whp with what you have.

yeah i was planning on gettting some buddy club 4 cams and gears, but money is kind of tight right now, and i really want to get this motor put together. Or shouldi just be patient and get what i want the first time? The motor is not going in my daily driver so its not like i just couldnt wait. i think i might just wait but i really wanted to know if it was attainable with CTRs.
