Default fuel pump/ relay problem???

Hey guys I have a problem, and I searched and didn't see anything that helped so.... I have a 92 hatch with a walbro 255 intank, it's been in the car about a year and ahalf and about a week ago it started acting up and not priming when i turn the key and now it's not working at all. Is this a common problem with these??? Also I was told that it could be the relay under the dash, so my question is how do I locate this relay, I know I have to take the cover off and have been told it's near the fuse block, but is it labeled or what does it look like and is it a common problem with them going out?? If so how could I tell if it's bad and where do I go to get a new one ( like autozone, ect....). Thanks for any help or info that could be given..

I couldn't find the info on the relay location but Autozone carries them for 30$ special order. I'm not sure how or if you can test that relay but what I usually do is see if the component is bad (in this case the fuel pump) and hardwire it to a positive source. Oh yeah you should be pushing between 40-47 lbs fuel pressure. I know that doen't help you now but thought it was useful info.

Looks like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=WD1V

You can get to it if you remove the knee bolster. Here's a write-up on how to get to it: http://www.markl.f9.co.uk/howt...y.htm

Hope this helps; good luck man.
