How do I adjust my clutch? its grabbing high.
Ok first off I have a LS turbo hatch running 7psi right now. On tuesday its getting tuned for 12psi, but the clutch is grabbing a bit high now. The clutch DOES NOT slip at all and runs great. It just grabs a little high. Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem?
I dont think you can adjust a hydraulic clutch.. if it grabs high thats a good sign if you ask me.. If its aftermarket thats probably how its suppose to be

You can adjust your freeplay, its the bolt that is connected to your clutch pedal and then goes thru the fire wall, Just loosen the lock nut (it's a 12mm If I remember right) and then twist the piston and repeat till the level is where you want it.
That is the freeplay of the pedal before it engages the clutch master cly. The amount of travel before the clutch engages is related to the life of the clutch that is left. If this happened all at once you could maybe blame the slave cly but sounds like a worn clutch to me.
