A3's are OBD1, and A2's are OBD2. somebody better with wiring will chime in.

nothing to worry about all sensors from the a3 shortblock have the same plugs as the a2 shortblock. just retain alternator from a2. KS is the only sensor that has to be plugged from the shortblock so i don't see you having any sort of problems. good luck!

Don't forget about the crankangle sensor on obd 2. The sensor is attached to the oil pump is different than the obd 1. So if you plan on keeping it obd 2 you will need the oil pump. If your engine grenaded then you need a new oil pump. 96 and up type r/gsr/ si oil pump will work. and your old crank angle sensor

CKF sensor....sorry forgot that one!....just like civic2slo said either pull the oil pump with the ckf sensor from the a2 (if not messed up) and use it with the donor a3 (take the obd1 oil pump out and swap it with the one from the a2)

or get a new obd2 oil pump which shouldn't cost you more than 140 bucks and reuse the ckf sensor that you'll pull out from the a2 motor.

everything on the a2 is good. its just that after a leakdown, cylinder #1 shows 11% leakage, # 2 shows 15% leakage, and #4 shows 20% leakage. everything else is fine. motor still runs, but, i think the jrsc has taken its toll on the motor.
