dash swap... whos done em?
i recently acquired a newer dash for my 1991 crx and was wondering if anyone had any tips and fitment tricks before i go and do it
i have seen CRXs with integra dash swaps so i know its possible
the only thing is that i have a 1995 civic dash... should it install the same? or am i going to run into major problems with trimming etc.

after browsing through results, i still have no info that i can use
everyone does crx blue dash to crx black dash or a 88 crx with a 91 dash or a crx with an integra dash with little info that does not apply to what im doing

im just gonna go an see if i can do it myself and break a few things along the way then ill get back to yas with the results

Eggman has a CRX dash in his Civic.
This link has a pic of it.

Redirects the console toward the driver.
Nice option IMO!
Maybe try asking him too.

Well my experience with installing a (94+) Integra Dash in my 88...
It takes lots of trimming, making new supports on the side, making bracket for the center bolt (on top) but mine is still work in progress.
I have heard that in order to put a 94+ Teg dash in a 92-95 Civic it requires minor trimming and drilling here and there but otherwise drops in place.
So in order to put it in your CRX it will require trimming and drilling and perhaps welding (brackets)

When you do a search you need to click on the "archived content" button.
there are lots and lots of posts about this very subject.
I did a Type R dash swap on my CRX, and also a Tpe R dash swap on an EG.
LOTS of work no matter what, and you better be good at fabricating because NOTHING lines up or bolts right up.

But teg info will be helpfull cause it will probly require the same typ of modding.
What do you want us to tell you? The super secret way to bolt in any dash with no modding?
Things like this have no right up cause they dont bolt in and depending on who you are they can be done a million different ways.
Grab your dash sit in your car and figure it out.
I know most proper dash swaps involve some welding of brackets and steering colum mounts so hopefully you can weld good.
