94 up integra dash swap
hey just wondering if anyone new where i could find a write up or any info on how to do this... i saw some pics of this swap and thought it looked really nice.... i've heard it's a really really hard thing to do. so of course i want to try to do it. any help would be great thanks

If you don't care to have AC nor fan in your car, then swapping it is no trouble.
I did it on my CRX and there is no way you can have AC and the integra dash
on your CRX at the same time.
The vents and vent pipes under the teg dash don't allow the CRX fan, condenser and air handler to fit nor match.
I put it on, simply because I didn't like driving around without a dash and my friend was going to throw his crashed type R dash away.
On top of that, none of the CRX dash brackets line up with the teg dash none! I had to make new brackets and get creative with the fit around the windshield.

that looks good. so none of the vents work?
As I said, there is no AC,nor fan in my car.
The CRX air handler does not fit under the teg dash and the vents on the CRX air handler do not match the vents on the teg dash.
this is my race/fun CRX, so I don't care for the AC stuff.

Very nice job!!!! ive been talkin S**t about doing that to my 91 CRX for a while now.how did the door panels line up? or did you have to take them off?

OK, here is more info about the dash swap.
The teg dash is deeper than the CRX dash, so the fan asembly in the CRX would hit the teg dash on the inside. If you want to line up the CRX fan assy. with the teg
vents, you have to shim the dash outwards, then make some type of adapter to line things up. I honestly don't see it happening.
The teg dash is almost the same width (door to door) as the CRX dash, so that is not a problem. The CRX door panels are not compatible with the teg dash. I made the CRX panels fit by cutting the area right below the rear view mirror and continuing down to match the profile of the teg dash. I don't have complete door panels on the CRX so it was not a problem. About the teg dash fitting the windshield, it's close but it requires some grinding towards the sides.
I will take a few more close up pics tonight and post them.

Way interested... What if I have all the GSR fan stuff and everything like that? I wonder if that will fit... Anyone know if there's any hope/chance anything that the integ. door panels will fit on the CRX doors? I know it'a long shot, but you never know... The dash damn near looks like it was supposed to be there...

Dude, you have seriously dragged this thread back from the dead. 2 years 38ish days, jeez...BTW, no clue if any of that would work, but I highly doubt it. GSR doors look wayyy longer then a CRXs.
