What specifically COULD happen if someone grinds gears when using a 75+ shot of N20? Ruined synchros? Tranny gone? Engine hurt?

probably just ruin the syncros real bad, depends on how high you were reving i guess. engine probably not hurt from it.

 

The same thing that would happen if you had a supercharger, turbo, or a full NA build. You'd grind the synchro down a bit. Now if you have a WOT activated nitrous sytem and don't take your foot off of the gas, you'll hit the fuel cut and run extremely lean. That's why it's good to get an ignition with a rev limiter, an MSD ignition, or a Jacob's electronics nitrous mastermind and set the rev limiter a bit below the fuel cut.

 

Why would they be using the NOS while they where shifting? IMO your nuts to powershift a itr with NOS. THats just my personal opinon.
