CRX Control Arm bushings
I was wondering what manufacturs make control arm bushings for our cars and also which are good, deasent, and which just plain out suck. Some prices would be nice too, also i have b16 so what car should i use the bushings off of?
you may wanna try Energysuspension or Prothane for bushings (assuming polyurethane is what your after)
ive herd mixed reviews about using urethane bushings
some say it rides tight
others say it is too tight and noisy (you can feel every crack in the road and its easier to accidently drift the rear out)
your choice, i would recommend good ol stock rubber replacements!!

SPC makes some nice beefy balljoints for control arms better than oem and parts stores versions. and energy suspensions make control arm bushings.

Honda does.
As far as CA bushings, I'm using Prothane for the Rear lower LCAs and the inner, rear UCAs. The fronts, both upper and lower, are new OEM. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I just did this install 2 days ago. With a 15 ton press and an acetyline torch it was anything but easy....make sure you REALLY want this before you jump into it. With me and my dad and Kid-Honda it took us all day, and the susp isn't back together. Definitely not an easy install.

If you do want to do this bushings, I would suggest replacing the rear LCA's to something like the omnipowers. For $50 bucks you can upgrade and avoid the hassle of pressing out 6 bushings. Plus, you will more than likely have seized bolts.
If I were to do this again I would torch out the bushing centers, and use a die grinder to get rid of the outer shell.

yeah. siezed bolts are the worst part. it sucks living in the north with rust and everything. each car seems to have at least 2 seized bolts on it. the pressing? i didn't have a problem with that, but of course i used a vietnam war surplus 65 ton press. handy stuff. it can deform those grade 10 bolts without even heating them up first.
honda bushings from the dealer here are usually 20 bucks a piece, pretty pricey.

energy suspension master bushing kit. $140 for everything needed under the car. It makes it ride like new again. Removing the old ones is a bitch but it is worth it.
