1996-2000 civic sohc vtec head on a zc motor?

Default 1996-2000 civic sohc vtec head on a zc motor?

will this vtec head fit zc sohc and if so does anyone think its worth doing because i have one laying around, but at teh same time i heard teh cams in the zc head is pretty good. will i get a little extra power switching over to the vtec head or the zc head?

Not without some serious custom machine work. Stick with the ZC head and get some nice cams for it.

I think the gains of using the VTEC head is better than the non-VTEC head. It will make for a good, peppy motor if done correctly.

I though d-series vtec heads bolt right onto the sohc zc block..And there is no cams..It's 1 cam

yes the head will fit
definitely worth it
get a valve job and p & p before you put it on
but wiring is a hassle
